I have had these pics for a while. When this game first came out Nicholas pre-ordered it and was a whiz at it before most folks even knew what it was. He was so excited and proud of himself he had to haul all this stuff to my house so he could show us how well he played. I took a bunch of pics, most of which are blurry cause he is moving SO fast!!
Anyway, this Just Chillin' line is perfect for teen pics. It has lots of guitar, wing, star, bug, crown motifs (you know, the "teen stuff" you see on the clothes they wear) in the pattern of the paper, the embellishments and rubons. Speaking of embellishments, there are really nice rub-ons (the pack is loaded over 43 in there) and a pack of 16 layered chipboard stickers, and the BRADS are so cool- they are canvas and a nice size (not too big and not too small)! I love the colors, muted and earthy and so easily adapted to BOY pics or teen GIRL pics.
This layout is one of my favorites. I did LOTS of sculpting on this. I loved the embossed-like image seen here, but it was part of a colored sheet of paper that did not match with my photos, so after hours of cutting, hahahaha-I applied my favorite part it to a sheet of my always-at-the-ready Bazzill. This was a nifty way to make use of it with these pics and I had lots of fun on this layout- I sponge painted the Bazzill edges, used cut-away scraps for mats, tilted the pics (usually not a "gail thing") and I used my Basic Grey Beckham chipboard alphas. I left the milk choc chip plain, but I painted the white choc chip ones green to draw out that color from the layout elements. They painted up so nicely! I enjoyed using this product. I am sure if you will too, but get it NOW as it is flying out of the store. 4 packs of paper have sold since I checked the available quantity this morning!Happy scrapping, be sure to look for the rest of my Just Chillin' layouts in the gallery, and if you find the SUN, would you send him MY way please???
